Today's Eats

My meals have been all over the place this weekend.  I've stayed on track but the food I've eaten has been weird and random.  That's what happens when we are busy and I haven't prepped enough.

Today I felt more in control.  I ate well, got a good workout in, my kids are well (finally!!!) and I am planning on going to bed early.  Life is good.

Breakfast:

Basic paleo pancake (one egg+one banana) with sunflower seed butter, banana, and salted cinnamon coconut chips on top.

Lunch:

I have been on a huge salad kick this weekend.  It's strange for me because I really don't like salad!  It's because I found a new little trick.  I grilled some chicken, cooked up some bacon, and toasted some pecans this weekend.  I chopped everything up and put it in one big container.  It's such an amazing combination!  Now I've got my salad protein topping ready to go!  I just add the veggies- today avocado, local tomato, and local greens.  Plus I dressed it with balsamic and olive oil.  Lunch was ready in 5 minutes.

Dinner:

Leftovers!  A leftover burger from this weekend topped with avocado and tomato.  Plus bacon green beans and sautéed tatsoi.  Check out that tomato.  That's from my produce box!  So is the tatsoi.  YUM!

What's something yummy you ate this weekend???

I'm not a big salad lover either, but that one sounds perfect! Have you ever tried adding a tablespoon of coconut flour into your paleo pancake? It makes them fluffier, and so delicious :)

Well, I'd eat any salad with bacon on it. For sure.

I love salads--the more fun ingredients the better. Mixing raw with cooked/roasted veggies is the best, topped with protein and a healthy fat . . . all in one bowl. Yum!

I'm going to try different combinations!

Ha! I was actually facetiming with my husband while I was eating that and I said "I'd eat any salad with bacon on it". We are long lost sisters girl!!! :)

Bacon makes everything better :) I don't usually love salads but I put my leftover buffalo chicken meatloaf over a salad with some bacon and avocado and OMG it was the best. I haven't made paleo pancakes in a while, maybe this weekend!!!

It's always the weird stuff that's so good!

I love that idea of having the protein ready to go! Lunch is my least favorite meal, so I rarely prepare for it and I am constantly finding myself scraping the fridge for some protein and veggies.

Chad, what would you suggested as pre-workout diet
and post-workout nourishment coming from real whole food items?
Dietary supplements are also pricey for me and i favor
to obtain all I need to have from true complete food items.
Thanks!

Mine too Bree! Lunch is just boring and usually consists of leftovers.

Men often objectify ladies but women are much
less most likely to complete the same to men. Women are a lot more psychological
whilst males are less likely to become as emotional.

What are the fundamental psychological differences among
men and women, simply because considering that they're each human beings they needs to be exact same?
