An Easy Day

This was the easiest day ever for food.  Most of it was already made during my meal prep!

Breakfast:

One egg, two egg whites, spinach, leftover sausage.  Plus unpictured coffee.

Gym:  Push day- chest press, tricep dips, flys, tricep kickbacks, shoulder press, lateral raises.  Plus 30 minutes on the treadmill just brisk walking at an incline.

See the snacks missing?  I'm cleaning up my diet.  No snacking unless I need it.  That breakfast was filling!

Lunch:

Pork sausage, peppers, and onions cooked in coconut oil- made on Sunday!

Dinner:

Tilapia grilled on my george foreman and roasted carrots- made on Sunday!  I squeezed some fresh lemon juice on the fish.

Do you eat regular snacks?  If so, what do you eat?

I'm a huge snacker!

I do eat regular snacks. Every afternoon I have an apple with something else . . . maybe some almonds, or pistachios, a protein bar, or with protein powder of some sort. It holds me over until dinner--otherwise I'd probably eat my arm before I got home from work. :)

I most definitely snack.. I workout in the morning, but then teach later at night- so I have super late dinners on those nights.. and I just love food lol :)

We eat dinner kind of early- 5:30 or so. That's probably why I don't need a snack often in the afternoon. Usually it's mid morning for me when I do get hungry!

That lunch looks tasty! I would love to try it with vegan sausage.

I am a big snacker. I usually stick with fruits and vegetables throughout the day and then allow myself a sweet or salty snack at night (rice cakes w/ various toppings, popcorn, Pop Chips, lentil chips, yogurt, etc.).

That's a good idea! Having control over it and planning it out would work for me :)

Nice job with the no snacking. I'm definitely a snacker but do really try to check in before I have something to see if I need it. Like Hannah said I pretty much plan on having a snack at nighttime and it definitely helps to plan it out ahead of time!

If I'm hungry, I snack. Usually an apple, or a cheese string. Maybe even some tuna on corn thins. If I'm actually hungry I eat real food. I know if I want a snack of chocolate then I'm not really hungry. That being said a never deny myself a few squares of dark chocolate. :) Especially when I am exercising 6 days a week! :)

I don't snack very often. I try and eat a fairly big breakfast which then carries me onto lunch and then dinner. Sometimes I might have a little something in between lunch and dinner or a little dark choc after dinner but that's about it. Sometimes if I'm really craving something sweet to eat in between meals I'll just have a teaspoon of coconut oil straight out the jar and that will stop my cravings and keep me full!
