Five Favorites Friday: Blogs

I thought having a Friday favorites would be fun!  I love it when people post favorite things.  It makes people aware of products, recipes, blogs, and it helps you get to know the blogger a little better.

What do you look for in a blog?

There are several things I look for:
· Clear pictures
· Consistent posting
· Knowledgeable on what they are blogging about (nutrition, exercise, photography...)
· Meal ideas
· A thorough about me page (I'm so nosy... it's one of the first pages I go to when I find a new blog)
· Similiar interests (paleo, kids, fitness, meal planning...)

These are the five blogs I read on a daily basis.  I love them for different reasons.

In no particular order:

1-  Kath Eats Real Food

2-  Clean Food Creative Fitness

3-  Primal Toad

4-  PaleOMG

5-  Ally's Sweet and Savory Eats

What are your five favorite blogs?
I'll let you know what my five favorites will be every Thursday.

Great idea for listing favorites, Kristen! I read a couple of those, but not all. I agree that it's fun to see what other people like to do/use/read/etc. It can open your eyes to new and different things! :) I linked to a post where I did this with Trader Joe's items a few months back.

Aww thanks so much for including me! I'm quite honored to be in the presence of Kath Eats, PaleOMG, and Your Blog! Three of my favorites :)

I like PaleoOMG but find her recipes too convoluted and complicated. I need really simple things.

I found an interesting take on the " 2 ingredient pancake"..same thing, only baked so less messy : http://detoxinista.com/2012/01/paleo-pancakes/

I agree with you! Her recipes can use way too many ingredients. Whenever I do make something of hers it is always amazing. Plus she is hilarious. I'll have to check out that pancake! Totally my thing :)

I read some of your favorites too. I did a post with my favorite Paleo sites which is my #1 ranked post. I love finding new sites that help with my health journey. Top 5 list are some of my favorite to read because it lets me discover new sites!

I think this is a great idea for finding new blogs, thanks! I just randomly scroll through my reader each day, but I like Kath, Angela (ohsheglows), Healthy Diva Eats, Cotter Crunch, My Funny Little Life, Beautiful Struggle, Laura Lives Life, Allie's Life, Wayfaring Chocolate, yours of course, and more. I'll try to publish a similar post with LINKS!

- Ingredients of a Fit Chick
- Paleo in Pdx
- Civilized Caveman (check out his banana bread...the newest one).
